Manna Church Internship Program – Internship Job Description

Program Overview:

The Manna Church Internship Program is designed to raise up the next generation of Christian leaders ages 18-25 by equipping them to grow in three key areas: Faith, Character, and Leadership. This hands-on, immersive internship provides an opportunity for young adults to engage in ministry, develop leadership skills, and deepen their faith through intentional mentorship, training, and practical opportunities for leadership growth.

Position Summary:

As an intern with Manna Church, you will actively participate in the day-to-day operations of  Manna Church and the fulfilling of the vision of the house. You will receive leadership training, participate in worship services, contribute to community outreach, and develop skills necessary for effective Christian leadership. The program aims to cultivate your growth in faith, character, and leadership, preparing you for future roles in ministry or any leadership position you may pursue.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

1. Faith Development:
2. Attend weekly Bible studies, theological training sessions, and spiritual growth discussions.
3. Apply biblical principles in your work and life within the Manna Church community.
4. Engage in personal and group discussions on faith, growth, and service.
5. Character Development:
6. Develop integrity, accountability, and humility through mentorship and feedback.
7. Foster positive relationships with fellow interns, staff, and church members.
8. Embrace challenges and use them as opportunities for personal growth.
9. Leadership Development:
10. Assist in the planning and execution of Manna Church services, outreaches, and small groups.
11. Take on leadership roles in small group teams, SERVE Team coordination, and outreach projects.
12. Participate in leadership training activities and meetings.
13. Work alongside church leaders and staff to gain exposure to different aspects of ministry leadership.
14. Practical Ministry Experience:
15. Support various Manna Church lanes such as Manna Kids, Manna Students, Manna Worship, Outreach & Missions, etc.
16. Participate in Manna Church events and services, providing logistical support as needed.
17. Help create content for Manna Church communications, if needed (e.g., social media, newsletters, promotional materials).
18. Attend meetings with leaders/staff to discuss ongoing projects and ministry development.

Qualifications:

1. Be a member of Manna Church.
2. Completion of the Growth Track (FirstStep, NextStep, & LeaderStep)
3. Strong passion for growing in faith, developing character, and cultivating leadership.
4. A desire to serve others and contribute to Manna Church's mission.
5. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
7. Willingness to learn, be challenged, and grow.
8. Prior experience in ministry or leadership roles is a plus, but not required.
