IT Specialist Summer Internship

MORSE is looking for an IT Specialist Summer Intern to join our team of talented IT Professionals. Do you enjoy getting hands-on with technology? Do you enjoy troubleshooting and solving problems? In this role you will assist with IT tasks and projects, including implementing, upgrading, maintaining, and supporting a variety of technology as part of our IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and a love of technology.

This internship is available from May-August 2026 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  IT Helpdesk ticket support

  
  


• 
  

  Onboarding of new employees

  
  


• 
  

  Manage Poly VTC Systems

  
  


• 
  

  Assisting with new system implementation

  
  


• 
  

  System troubleshooting

  
  


• 
  

  Helping to configure, manage and maintain Linux and Windows servers

  
  


• 
  

  Assist with IT projects and upgrades, including planning and project rollout support

  
  


• 
  

  Becoming familiar with IT security and data protection

  
  

Requirements:

• Available from May through August 2026 or longer

  US Citizenship Required

  
  


• 
  

  Working towards a BS or BA degree in Computer Networking, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related subject

  
  


• 
  

  Familiarity with MacOS X, Linux and Windows Operating Systems.

  
  


• 
  

  Understanding of Networks.

  
  


• 
  

  Experience working with virtual machines and containers.

  
  


• 
  

  Experience with shell scripting on *nix systems.
