Land Survey Intern

RKR Hess, a division of UTRS, Inc., is currently seeking a Part-time Land Survey Intern to join our team! This position will provide field work support to the Survey Department and gain exposure to other departments within the company. The position is based out of our East Stroudsburg, PA office and offers flexible working hours.

What will you be doing?

This position will be a key member of the Survey Team. Duties include:

•    Assist survey field crews with collecting survey data on all types of surveys including boundary, topographic and ALTA/ACSM Land Title Surveys using GPS and robotic total stations.

What skills will the ideal candidate have to be successful?

•    Enrollment in a survey or engineering degree program at an accredited college or university is preferred. 
•    Some AutoCAD drafting knowledge preferred, but willing to train candidates interested in learning.
•    Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with others
•    Basic computer experience.
•    Working knowledge of Microsoft software products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
•    UTRS has a COVID-19 vaccination status requirement.
