Position Overview:
We are seeking an Engineering Student Intern to support Lean Manufacturing initiatives within our cabinet production operations. This role provides hands-on experience in improving efficiency, reducing waste, and optimizing workflows in a real-world manufacturing environment. The position is ideal for students interested in industrial, mechanical, or manufacturing engineering, with the opportunity to continue part-time during the academic year.

  Analyze cabinet manufacturing processes to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities

  Assist in implementing lean tools such as 5S, Kaizen, and standard work practices

  Support workflow optimization in cutting, assembly, and finishing operations

  Collect and analyze production data to track key performance metrics

  Participate in continuous improvement projects and team meetings

  Document processes, layouts, and standard operating procedures

  Work collaboratively with production staff, supervisors, and engineering support

  Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field

  Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with data tracking or analysis preferred
