About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated Legal Intern to join our dynamic legal team. This internship offers hands-on experience in a fast-paced startup environment, supporting key legal functions including commercial contracting, risk analysis, contract lifecycle management (CLM), and equity platform operations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to learn.
Key Responsibilities
Commercial Agreements:
- Assist in drafting, reviewing, and revising NDAs, MSAs, vendor agreements, and other commercial contracts.
- Support contract negotiation processes and maintain version control.
Risk Analysis:
- Conduct legal research and assist in identifying potential legal and regulatory risks.
- Help prepare risk summaries and mitigation strategies for internal stakeholders.
Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM):
- Support the implementation and optimization of CLM tools.
- Help maintain contract databases, track key dates, and ensure compliance with internal processes.
Equity Platform Support:
- Assist with documentation and data management related to the company’s equity platform.
- Help ensure accurate recordkeeping of cap table updates, option grants, and shareholder communications.
Basic Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a law degree (JD/LLB/LLM) or recent graduate.
- Strong interest in corporate law, commercial contracts, and startup legal operations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with CLM systems and equity platforms (e.g., Carta, Pulley) is a plus.

Salary Range
$16.50-18.50/hour
