Lineman Intern

Oklahoma Electric Cooperative in Norman, OK is accepting applications for Fall 2025 Lineman internships.

Internships will likely start in September and run for approximately 8-16 weeks. Lineman Interns will gain hands-on experience in overhead and underground construction, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

Applicants should meet the following qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in, or recent graduate of, Electric Power Line Technology (or similar) degree or certificate program


• Trained and certified in climbing


• Trained and certified in First Aid and CPR


• Basic electricity knowledge


• Have and maintain Class A CDL or will obtain prior to graduation


• Live in OEC service territory during the internship
