Logistics Intern - 2026

The Nightwing business provides technically advanced full-spectrum cyber, data operations, systems integration and intelligence mission support services to meet our customers’ most demanding challenges. Nightwing Special Projects ELITE (SPE) brings together an elite team of mission-focused industry experts who are well known for their ability to overcome the most advanced challenges.

This position is an onsite role in Springfield, VA.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with property management tasking such as shipping, receiving, and tracking of government procured equipment

• Support the implementation of lean principles and practices to improve workflow of logistics procedures

• Contribute to the development and maintenance of standard operating procedures (SOPs) for logistics processes and integration with engineering work

• Use Power Bi, Excel, and other tools to create dashboards, develop metrics, track scores, and perform analytics on logistics procedures

• Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce costs

• Identify gaps in processes and develop solutions to meet the business needs of the logistics team

Requirements:

• Candidate must be enrolled in an accredited degree program, preferably in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Previous coursework or experience in supply chain, warehouse/distribution, or related fields

• Familiarity with logistics operations and procurement practices

• Knowledge in Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

• Strong attention-to-detail and organizational abilities

• Experience with data collection and analysis
