Eaton\u2019s AER MSD Mission System Division division is currently seeking a Manufacturing Engineer Intern - AAR.\n\nThe hourly rate for this position is $20.77-$25.96 per hour.\n\nPlease note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. \n\n## What you\u2019ll do:\n\nEaton Mission Systems is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer Intern to work with our dynamic team in a fast-paced, aerospace and defense manufacturing environment at our growing Davenport, Iowa facility. Eaton\u2019s internship program offers real world experience and mentoring through a variety of activities and assignments. Pay is calculated by your college status.\n\nKey Responsibilities: \n\u2022 Work on integrated product teams to improve manufacturing processes and procedures. \n\u2022 Participate in capacity improvement, cost-out and/or lean manufacturing projects, analyzing proposed improvements and implementing change. \n\u2022 Update work instructions and procedures to improve the manufacturing process.\n\n## Qualifications:\n\nRequired Qualifications: \n\u2022 Junior/Senior status with a major in Engineering or BS technical degree (STEM) at an accredited institution.\n\n\u2022 Relocation is not offered for this position. Must reside within 70 miles of Davenport, Iowa. \n\n\u2022 Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position. This means that Eaton will not support any CPT, OPT, or STEM OPT plans, F-1 to H-1B, H-1B cap registration, O-1, E-3, TN status, I-485 job portability, etc.\n\n\u2022 This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR/EAR or have the ability to be authorized under licenses from Department of State and Department of Commerce. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. \u0027Green Card Holder\u0027), Political Asylee, or Refugee.\n\nPreferred Qualifications: \n\u2022 Junior/Senior standing towards Bachelor\u2019s Degree in ABET accredited \n\u2022 Industrial, Manufacturing, or Mechanical Engineering program \n\u2022 Prior related internship or work experience \n\u2022 Hands on experience with aircraft or aircraft systems.\n\n\u2022 Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher. \n\nWe are committed to ensuring equal employment opportunities for all job applicants and employees.
