Manufacturing Summer Temp-For Fall Enrolled College/University/Tech School Students

Job Responsibilities: (includes the following, other duties may be assigned)

• Follows verbal instructions to ascertain equipment and set up required.


• Selects and sets up air operated hand tools and fixtures.


• Communicates with team leader and supervisor regarding orders, hardware, and inventory.


• Monitors and verifies that the quality and quantity of work performed meets Bobrick standards.


• Maintains the production process in a capable and aligned state by working continuously to improve.


• Maintain a healthy and safe environment by keeping the work area clean, materials positioned correctly and follow safe operating procedures at all times.


• Pulls all parts and components, understands and uses pack scan equipment to verify completion of components and/or all items and specified on customer orders.


• Maintains production and quality standards.


• Works as a part of the department team and performs duties in work cells.


• Operates tape machine, pallet banding and wrapping equipment to package and secure components for shipment.


• Performs daily pre-use inspection checklist on equipment.


• Assists with material handling operations.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED). 


• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.


• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms.  The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, climb or balance and talk or hear.  The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.  The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.


• Required to wear personal protective equipment:  eye protection (provided), hearing protection (provided), safety shoes, and safety sleeves (provided).

Salary: $14.70/hour

Must be enrolled in college, technical school or university for the Fall semester of 2026.
