Position Overview: Are you passionate about marketing and healthcare? Join our dynamic Marketing team at Newberry Health as a Marketing Intern! This entry-level, unpaid internship offers a hands-on opportunity to gain valuable experience in the marketing and healthcare fields. You'll assist in a variety of tasks that support our marketing strategies, help promote hospital services and enhance patient engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

· Assist in the creation and execution of marketing campaigns across digital and traditional platforms.

· Support social media management, including content creation, scheduling posts, and community engagement.

· Help with the design and production of marketing materials such as brochures, flyers, and newsletters.

· Conduct research on current marketing trends and competitors within the healthcare industry.

· Help with organizing events, campaigns, and promotions to improve patient outreach.

· Collaborate with the marketing team on special projects to drive brand awareness and engagement.

· Assist with content updates on the hospital’s website and social media pages.

· Provide general administrative support to the marketing department as needed.

Requirements

Qualifications:

· Current student or recent graduate in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related field.

· Strong written and verbal communication skills.

· Basic understanding of social media platforms and digital marketing.

· Creative and proactive with attention to detail.

· Ability to multitask and work well in a fast-paced environment.

· Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); familiarity with design tools (Canva, Adobe) is a plus.

· A genuine interest in marketing.
