DESCRIPTION  

Gage Marine Corporation in Delavan, WI is looking to hire a part-time Marketing Intern to join our team. This entry-level internship position earns an hourly rate of $16-$18 (based on experience). A perfect position for a college student interested in marketing and graphic design. Get the chance to work directly on marketing campaigns, create content for social media and print, and review marketing analytics. Help market Gage Marine, Lake Geneva Cruise Line, PIER 290, Lake Life Catering, and the Lake Life Store. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A MARKETING INTERN  

Work with the Marketing Manager and Director on marketing campaigns, including but not limited to developing a content calendar, creating the imagery and copy for social media posts, content creation and photography, website updates, campaign development, administrative tasks, and reviewing marketing analytics.  

PRIMARY TASKS  

• Create social media content (posts, videos, stories) – with the guidance and approval of the Marketing Manager  

• Pull marketing analytics and monthly reporting  

• Update PIER 290 website calendar (music lineup)  

• Help with monthly employee enewsletter 

• Assist with executing marketing campaigns including creating emails, print materials, website updates, graphics, etc. for all Gage businesses 

• Conduct research projects 

• Administrative tasks including organizing computer files, researching trends and best practices, auditing marketing materials 

• Attend marketing events, as needed 

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A MARKETING INTERN  

• Skilled with using a computer including software programs like Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams) 
• Some skill in using graphic design or video editing programs like Canva or CapCut 
• Some experience with social media, email marketing, and graphic design 
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment  
• A motivated team player looking to learn a lot and gain a variety of marketing experience 

WORK SCHEDULE FOR MARKETING INTERN  

This part-time intern position would work 15-25 hours per week, evenings and weekends included as needed.
