Marketing Intern

Position Summary:

The Marketing Intern is responsible for providing hands-on support to the Marketing team through administrative planning, asset collection, website support, and database updates.

All interns at Omaha Performing Arts (O-pa) will participate in personal/professional development opportunities. This individual must demonstrate the organization’s Core Values of Collaboration, Inclusion, Trust, and Integrity while providing excellent internal and external customer service. This internship is for our Fall term which will begin 10/1/2025 

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the collection of all show creative materials and manages approval process.
• Support tabling efforts at community events to promote organizational programs and engage with the public. 
• Collect and compile data to support marketing efforts.
• Process invoices and complete archival filing.
• Assist with grassroots marketing and communications efforts.
• Organize performance materials for upcoming season.
• Update website and social media upon request.
• May perform other duties as assigned.

Experience and Qualifications:

• Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed.
• Open to college sophomore, junior, or senior students as well as graduate students.
• Interest in arts administration or marketing preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Reliable and willing to learn.
• Flexible and able to perform a variety of tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Demands:

• May be required to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods of time.
• The noise level in the office environment is usually quiet; public events are moderate to loud.

• General Office Equipment (Computer, Telephone, Fax, Copier, Printer).
