Marketing Intern

We’re looking for a Marketing Intern to support our marketing team on a part-time basis (15–20 hours per week) through the end of the school year in May 2026. This role offers hands-on experience across communications, product marketing, branding, digital marketing, and events. Current students with U.S. work authorization are encouraged to apply. Candidates local to Madison, WI may work hybrid hours in our office, while remote candidates will work virtually.

Your main role responsibilities will include:

• Assisting with the creation and editing of marketing collateral, presentations, and digital content.
• Supporting product marketing projects, including competitive research, messaging drafts, and client-facing materials.
• Helping manage Understory’s digital presence, including website updates and social media content creation.
• Coordinating event logistics for webinars and client workshops.
• Assisting with partner and customer communications, such as newsletters and campaign updates.
• Tracking and reporting on marketing performance metrics to help measure impact and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborating with sales, product, and operations teams to support cross-functional marketing initiatives.

You’re exactly what we’re looking for if you:

• Are currently enrolled in a bachelor’s program in marketing, communications, business, or a related field.
• Have strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Are detail-oriented, organized, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
• Enjoy creative problem-solving and contributing ideas to team projects.
• Are comfortable with Google Workspace; experience with Salesforce, Canva, or Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
• Thrive in a team environment and are motivated by mission-driven work.

Position details:

• Part-time internship, 15–20 hours per week through May 2026.
• Hybrid (Madison, WI) or remote (U.S.-based) options available.
• Paid hourly, commensurate with experience.
