Marketing Intern - Columbus

Four Entertainment Group (4EG) is looking for an outgoing, creative Marketing Intern based in Columbus, Ohio. This opportunity is for college students or recent college graduates wishing to receive training and gain experience in marketing and communications. 

4EG is a privately held, local company founded and helmed by four partners that acquire, develop, and manage a wide-ranging roster of exceptional establishments including Beeline at Easton Town Center and The Roosevelt Room at Bridge Park. 

This position is extremely hands-on in nature and offers the opportunity to learn about all phases of marketing from strategy to execution. As our marketing intern, you will also be a part of our brand ambassador team. Brand ambassadors will work at our locations to drive traffic and promote upcoming events. This position does require some evening and weekend hours.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist in developing social media campaigns and manage content on Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Pinterest.


• Editorial calendar creation


• Update Wix websites


• Create email campaigns using Constant Contact


• Monitor social media channels for feedback and messages


• Analyze data to help determine marketing strategies


• Meet regularly with marketing and management teams to discuss promotions / events


• Attend and document various in-store marketing campaigns and events


• Hand out flyers, coupons, invitations, and other print materials with our brand ambassadors


• Share promotional images on social media


• Assist with check-in and programming during VIP events


• Submit events to regional publications


• Update the company blog, The Garnish, with timely and interesting articles


• Develop strategies to maintain and build social media followers


• Assist Marketing Manager with photography, videography, and editing of photos and videos to be used in marketing strategies


• Assist Marketing Manager with administrative tasks

SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIRED:

• Must have extensive knowledge of social media outlets including Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, LinkedIn, Instagram, Pinterest, etc.


• Familiarity with photography and styling a plus


• Knowledge of the restaurant / bar industry a plus


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills


• Ability to work under tight deadlines 


• Ability to work independently 


• Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships

COMPUTER EQUIPMENT AND SOFTWARE REQUIREMENTS: Interns must have their own personal computer for use onsite and for remote social media management. 

INTERNSHIP REQUIREMENTS: Interns will be expected to work approximately ten to twelve hours per week and will report to his or her divisional Marketing Manager. This is a hybrid position, working remotely and on-site at the locations.
