The Partners Group currently has an outstanding opportunity for an emerging professional to join our Sales & Marketing team in Portland, Oregon as a Marketing Writer Intern for Summer 2025.

How you will make an impact at TPG

The Marketing Writer Intern will gain experience in creating written and digital content, while collaborating with the marketing team and gaining hands-on experiences.

What a typical day in this role looks like

• Create engaging social media content: You'll be responsible for writing social media posts that resonate with our target audience and contribute to our overall social media strategy.
• Support content creation across various formats: This includes assisting with research, compiling information, editing and proofreading existing content, and even creating your own content pieces like blog posts, website copy.
• Collaborate with the marketing team: You'll be a part of the marketing team, working alongside colleagues and participating in team meetings. This is a great opportunity to learn from experienced professionals and gain valuable insights into the corporate marketing world.
• Gain professional development skills: This internship is a chance to develop your skills in content creation, social media management, and content marketing. You'll learn from industry experts and gain real-world experience.

Key details

Location: In-office near Tigard, Oregon

Hours: 30 hours/week, Mon-Fri

Compensation: $18.00 per hour

Physical Requirements: Ability to sit for extended periods of time, ability to communicate verbally and in writing, and ability to handle long periods of screen time.

Requirements

Who we’re looking for

• Incoming Junior-, Senior-, or recent graduate status strongly preferred (recently completed or working toward a BA/BS degree with a 3.0+ GPA); 
• Preferred Majors/Areas of study: English, Writing, Marketing, Communication, Journalism, or related programs
• Professional level of written and verbal communication skills
• Strong editing and proofreading abilities
• Familiarity with social media platforms, such as LinkedIn, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram 
• Ability to use a computer with a working knowledge of Microsoft programs (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Critical thinking, attention to detail, organization, and research skills
• Effective ability to work collaboratively with others as well as independently
