Marketing/HR Intern in Construction

Job Title: Marketing/HR Intern (Construction Industry)

We’re seeking a creative and motivated Marketing Intern to support our branding, recruiting, and project-marketing efforts. This role is ideal for a student interested in construction, marketing, or communications who wants to build a portfolio while learning how marketing operates in a boots-on-the-ground industry.

You’ll work directly with HR, leadership, and project teams to capture content, support recruiting initiatives, and help tell JKC's story. 

What You’ll Do

• Capture and create content from active construction projects (photos, videos, short interviews)


• Assist with social media content for LinkedIn, website, and recruiting campaigns


• Support employer-branding initiatives and internship recruiting


• Help design marketing materials (project sheets, event flyers, presentations)


• Attend occasional jobsite visits and company events


• Assist HR with internal communications and culture initiatives


• Assist HR with new field hires


• Organize photo libraries, project highlights, and marketing assets


• Brainstorm creative ways to showcase field crews and projects

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Human Resources, Communications, Construction Management, Business, or related field


• Strong writing and communication skills


• Comfortable taking photos/videos and using basic editing tools


• Familiarity with LinkedIn, Bluebeam, Hootsuite, or Adobe tools is a plus


• Organized, self-starter, and willing to learn


• Interest in construction is highly preferred


• Must be able to visit local jobsites (PPE provided)

Work Schedule: 7:00-3:30PM in the field and 8am-5pm office, Monday-Friday, or as needed to meet business needs.
