Job Summary: 

• Summer internship opportunity for an MBA or MHSA candidate focused on strategic, operational, and financial responsibilities. Full participation as a member of our executive team, including quarterly retreats, team meetings, and mentorship. Opportunity to contribute meaningfully to a mission-driven healthcare startup as it scales.  

Job Location:

• Strong preference for onsite work in Utah and / or Arizona. Open to partial remote setup.

Potential Responsibilities: 

• Business strategy development:

  • Evaluating key opportunities like combining a direct primary care membership model with other sources of revenue (e.g., FFS or risk contracts).

  • Assessing and standing up opportunities like a B2B strategy.

  • Identifying ways to implement marketing and sales attribution and develop a more defined CAC calculation and refined marketing and sales generation strategy.  
  
  
  
  

• Executive leadership:

  • Engaged participation in weekly executive team meetings. 
  
  
  
  

• Financial analysis and modeling:

  • Supporting the CEO with financial forecasting, scenario analysis, and budget management. 
  
  
  
  

• Market research and analysis:

  • Analysis of new locations and service lines to support executive decision making.  
  
  
  
  

• Healthcare regulatory compliance:

  • Conducting research and making operational recommendations for maintaining compliance, especially as we take on Medicaid contracts. 
  
  
  
  

• Special projects:

  • Leadership on other operational and special projects supporting our mission and goals. 
  
  
  
  

Qualifications: 

• Education: Current candidate for MBA or MHSA degree  

• Proficiency in Spanish a plus but not required
