Summary of Position:

A Ministry Apprenticeship is for individuals who sense a calling to vocational ministry and seek to develop ministry skills and gain the experience necessary to grow in their gifts. A Ministry Apprentice serves under the supervision of a Ministry Director and the guidance of a Pastor, and together, they will provide opportunities, feedback, and support to discern future ministry roles.

• Passionate relationship with Jesus 


• Hunger to grow and develop ministry skills and experience


• Teachability and humility - willing to receive feedback and coaching

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
For the supervisor, please provide 3-5 responsibilities in 1-2 departments for the duration of the apprenticeship.

Support Echo Compassion Ministry Initiatives

• Coordinate and manage Echo Compassion mission trips


• Develop resources, train and equip mission trip leaders 


• Strategize way to promote mission trips 


• Manage Echo Compassion Instagram account


• Assist Compassion Director with administrative tasks

Ministerial Licensing & Benefits

Apprentices may qualify for housing allowance upon approval of the Echo.Church Ministerial & Licensing Questionnaire, and be willing to perform the ministerial duties listed below.

Ministerial Duties include:

• Praying for and giving spiritual advice to others


• Leading others to worship by helping them serve with their gifts


• Teaching and leading Echo Groups


• Sharing the Gospel message with clarity


• Performing baptisms, funerals, and serving communion


• Officiating wedding ceremonies
