VSC Fire & Security in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina is seeking candidates for the position of Intern - Field Support.

 What we offer:

• Competitive salary. Range $15.00 - $25.00 and up based on experience (overtime eligible).

 What you need:

• Must be at least 16 years of age (or per state requirements for employment of minors)


• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from high school, trade school, or technical program


• Interest in construction, fire protection, engineering, skilled trades, or public safety


• Willingness to learn, ask questions, and follow instructions


• Ability to work in a team environment and follow safety protocols


• Reliable transportation to and from the assigned internship location

 What you will do:

• Participate in day-to-day tasks within assigned departments (field or office), supporting fire protection operations


• Observe and assist with the design, installation, or inspection of sprinkler and alarm systems


• Engage in safety briefings, job site walk-throughs, and project planning activities


• Shadow experienced technicians and learn industry best practices and compliance standards


• Attend scheduled learning sessions and career development meetings


• Complete assigned projects or tasks with guidance from mentors and supervisors


• Follow company safety procedures and contribute to a safe work environment


• Represent VSC Fire & Security in a professional and respectful manner at all times.
