Overview

The Library IT Client Services and IT Operations Intern will assist the Yale University Library IT department (and other Library departments as necessary) with IT project management, IT service management, strategic planning, enterprise application management and support, end-point technologies management and support, and outreach. This work may include but is not limited to the following:

  • Assists in selected aspects of routine technology projects to ensure they are completed on time and within budget
  • Assists in selected aspects of defining, documenting, managing, and transitioning services to production
  • Assists in selected aspects of departmental strategic planning
  • Assists in the delivery and support of IT services, including end-point technologies, enterprise applications, and Software as a Service platforms
  • Assists with the creation of workflow, testing, and other technical documentation
  • Assists with other projects as assigned
    At the conclusion of the internship, the intern(s) will present their work to the Library IT department.
