Overview

The student intern will support the East Palestine Train Derailment Health Research Program, contributing to research, data management, and community-facing activities. 

Responsibilities may include: 
Assist with survey operations, including assembling mailing packets, preparing materials, and tracking distribution to the field office
Perform data entry of survey responses and conduct routine quality control checks (e.g., identifying missing or inconsistent entries, double-entry verification for a subset of records)
Maintain organized logs and documentation of survey mailings, data entry progress, and data issues
Support literature review, including organizing references and updating evidence tables
Assist with data organization, including compiling and formatting publicly available water quality datasets
