The Nurse Practitioner (NP) Resident is a licensed, newly graduated NP participating in a structured, post-graduate, 13-month residency program designed to enhance clinical competency, professional standards, and confidence. The resident provides comprehensive patient care while receiving supervised, precepted training in a family practice setting. This residency program supports the transition to independent practice through a combination of hands-on patient care, didactic education, and professional development opportunities.
