Office Assistant Intern

We are currently searching for a highly motivated, detail-oriented individual to join our business office as an Office Assistant Intern for the Summer of 2025. As an Intern, you will provide administrative support to the Accounting and Human Resource departments. This is an exciting, paid Internship providing an opportunity to gain valuable knowledge of business office operations. The position will work 20 hours per week.

Responsibilities:

• Transfer paper formats into digital files.
• Perform a variety of administrative functions, including organization, and maintaining records, and files.
• Perform various administrative tasks such as scanning and filing as needed.
• Assist with A/R and A/P.
• Assist with the transition of fiscal year-end.
• Assist with audit-related preparation and research as required.
• Provide general accounting support
• Support the HR Director on basic tasks within the HR system.
• Assist with inventory count and restocking textbooks for the upcoming school year

Requirements

• Undergraduate student preferred
• Possess great communication skills
• Has a positive and energetic mindset
• A self-starter who is accountable and able to effectively work in an office environment
• Exhibits a high degree of integrity and ability to maintain confidential and sensitive information
