OPS Athletic Training Room Assistant

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

Individuals will assist athletic training staff in the facilitation of day to day activities which can include set-up and breakdown, hydration assistance for athletes during practice and home football games with possibility of traveling to away games. Duties also include cleaning of the athletic training facilities prior to and after practices and on game days, and other duties as assigned by Athletic Training staff. Must be able to work mornings during the spring, summer and fall seasons. Individuals must also comply with, and remain current on, all NCAA/SEC/UAA rules and regulations governing the operation of our intercollegiate sports programs. This position is open until filled.

MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

Required Qualifications: 

• Must be 18 years of age


• High School diploma or GED equivalent


• Full-time student enrolled at the University of Florida


• Valid driver’s license


• The ability to engage effectively with others of diverse cultures or backgrounds is essential


• Working a non-standard work week which will include nights, weekends, holidays and some overnight travel.
  


• Required to work morning shifts for spring, summer and fall seasons
