This paid internship is ideal for someone who loves superfoods, wellness culture, and creating experiences that turn customers into loyal regulars. As our Marketing Intern, you will report to our Marketing Coordinator and help bring the brand to life through events, collabs, and content that feel as fresh as our menu. DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist with planning and executing in-store and local events
• Support monitoring social media engagement and respond to comments/messages
• Coordinate and support event logistics including transportation of materials, signage, and on-site setup/breakdown
• Engage customers at events, share product benefits, and collect feedback and email sign-ups
• Help design and run promotions, such as new flavor launches, limited-time offers, etc.
• Ensure menus, signage, and displays reflect current campaigns and look visually on-brand
• Capture photos and short videos of drinks, bowls, guests, and shop moments for use on social media and in recaps
• Support outreach to local athletes, wellness partners, and fitness studios for collabs and cross-promotions
• Maintain simple partner and ambassador lists, tracking visits, content, and event dates
• Assist with planning and scheduling social posts (new food items, behind the scenes, events, partner spotlights)
• Support basic copywriting for captions, email newsletters, flyers, and event announcements
• Help recap events and promotions with key metrics and takeaways
• Keep shared calendars, content folders, and activation checklists organized
• Provided general admin support to the marketing coordinator and leaders as needed

REQUIREMENTS/MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Genuine interest in wellness, healthy food & beverages, and community building
• Comfortable connecting with teammates, customers, and partners in-person at our stores and events
• Familiarity with social media (Instagram, TikTok, etc.), basic content creation, and trends
• Exhibit a positive personality, top-notch customer service, and active engagement in person and digital formats
• Strong problem-solving skills with a calm, confident approach to challenges
• Excellent communication, creative, and multitasking abilities
• Organized, reliable, and team-oriented
• Be flexible and be able to work at least a part-time shift during business hours of 9AM-5PM PST; happy to work some evenings and weekends
• Ability to move quickly and with a sense of urgency to meet the demand of a fast-paced work environment
• Ability to follow company policies, standards, and procedures
• Maintain a clean and work-appropriate personal appearance while on-shift
• Computer skills and mobile knowledge
• Asana, any AI systems, Slack, and GSuite knowledge is a plus!
• Food experience or an active Food Handler Permit is a plus!
• Palmetto Superfoods uses E-Verify in the United States for employment authorization

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: 

• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods (up to 8 hours per shift) as needed
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs as needed
• Ability to frequently bend, reach, push, and pull as necessary to support business operations 
• Ability to travel up to 50% of the time when necessary
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with frequent movement as needed

WORK ENVIRONMENT: 

• This role takes place in a busy retail environment with frequent interaction with customers and team members when in-person
• Exposure to varying noise levels, temperature changes, and cleaning supplies when in-person
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
