Evaluate plasma reactor performance using optical and electrical diagnostics in laboratory settings. Design and develop new plasma metrology systems to accelerate the product development cycle. Perform computational plasma simulations to deepen understanding of fundamental plasma properties and enhance system performance. Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to support new product development. Prepare high-quality reports and technical presentations to communicate design concepts, analyses, and results to diverse audiences. Current PhD students in Engineering (Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical, Aerospace, or related fields) or Physics. Educational background in plasma science, demonstrated through hands-on laboratory experience or analytical/computational modeling. We are seeking candidates who can start in winter or spring 2026 and are available for a 3-6 month long internship. Experience with plasma diagnostics and/or plasma simulations. Proficiency in data acquisition using MATLAB, LabVIEW, Python, etc. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration across teams. Ability to work independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
