Serve as Festival Intern & Volunteer Intern at both the Nossrat Yassini Poetry Festival and the Nossrat Yassini Teen Poetry Festival. The intern must be available before, during, and after the Festival for set-up, break-down, and to work with the Festival Director in managing events and handling on-site activities.
Duties/Responsibilities
(25%) Recruit, train, schedule, and manage volunteers for both Festivals.
(50%) Help with Festival planning, organizing, and execution, to include managing listservs; creating and sharing promotional materials (including a zine of Festival poets); managing social media accounts; and updating the website, as needed.
(25%) Create legacy materials for the next Nossrat Yassini Poetry Festival intern.

Compensation Pay Range:
$12.50 /hour
