Job Description - Process Engineering Intern - Summer/Fall 2026
Participate in projects applying engineering and electrodeposition methodologies towards developing features on Lam SABRE 3D electroplating system to enhance equipment and reactor performance. Support testing and characterization in process and product development. These duties include setting up and running bench scale experiments, operation of a deposition development tool, chemistry and material analysis, and use of metrology tools to measure and characterize on-wafer deposition performance. Further R&D support activities also include data compilation, organization, and conducting scientific journal research. We are looking for high energy individuals that want to learn and contribute to a growing organization. The individual must be willing to take on technical challenges and help identify world-class solutions. Pursuing a Master's or PhD degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Mechanical Engineering, or Material Science Available to intern for 6-months starting in May/June and ending in November/December Hands on experience working in a laboratory Experience working on/troubleshooting complex equipment and systems Knowledge in electrochemistry/electrodeposition a plus especially in areas of copper, tin and tin-alloys, and nickel
