If you\u2019re willing to contribute and create value for tomorrow\u2019s cleaner and smarter mobility, FORVIA is the place to be.\n\nFORVIA is looking for a year-round Production Control and Logistics Intern for its Location in Columbus, Indiana.\n\n## Your mission, roles and responsibilities\n\nThe main roles and responsibilities of the PC\u0026L Intern will be:\n\nThe role of a PC\u0026L intern is supporting the implementation of Production Control \u0026 Logistics (PC\u0026L) standard tools and best practices methodologies within a plant. Her or his scope of activity within the complete supply chain of the plant is potentially related to internal and externals flows as well as the physical and information flow.\n\nThe PC\u0026L Intern will be supporting:\n\nThe proper implementation on time of all the standards and best practices related to supply chain management of the plant, as a project leader, under the PC\u0026L manager priority guidance, for serial life but also for upcoming programs.\n\n * Update or help implement standards for the plant such as digitalization \u0026 automation\n * Creating and distributing documentation \u0026 instruction throughout the plant\n * Lead or co-lead PC\u0026L improvements and/or projects within the PC\u0026L network\n * Champion productivity cost saving initiatives within the PC\u0026L scope\n\n\n\n## Your profile and competencies to succeed\n\n### \n\nThe ideal candidate will have/be:\n\n * Interest in \n\nSupply Chain, Mechanical Engineering, Engineering, Business Development, or Similar\n\n * Currently enrolled in a college degree program\n * Prior internship or co-op experience\n * Minimum of a 2.8 GPA\n\n\n\nMinimum education level: Pursing a bachelor\u2019s degree\n\nSkills and competencies:\n\n * Commitment to the highest ethical standards and willingness to adhere to Faurecia\u2019s Code of Ethics and Code of Management\n * Strong communication skills within a team\n * Entrepreneurial spirit with energy, autonomy and accountability\n\n\n\n## What we can do for you\n\n * At Forvia, you will find an engaging and dynamic environment where you can contribute to the development of sustainable mobility leading technologies. \n * We are the seventh-largest global automotive supplier, employing more than 157,000 people in more than 40 countries which makes a lot of opportunity for career development. \n * We welcome energetic and agile people who can thrive in a fast-changing environment.
