foundry10 is an education research organization with a philanthropic focus on expanding ideas about learning and creating direct value for youth. Candidates must live in Washington State and be able to travel to program sites and work directly with youth in the greater Seattle area. We are not able to sponsor visa applications, and to be considered for this position, you must be eligible to work in the United States. To protect our staff, partners, and the youth we serve, we require all foundry10 employees to adhere to our masking and COVID testing policies when working in person.
Summary of Role
The Program Pillar at foundry10 is looking to hire a Program Evaluation Intern to support our internal educational program evaluation process.
The Program Evaluation Intern will provide substantial support to the Program Evaluator on all phases of the evaluation process, including planning (helping to hone evaluation questions), design (selecting and considering indicators, instruments, and methods), delivery (conducting inquiry in formal and informal learning environments), and analysis (consolidating data, facilitating analysis sessions, and sharing out findings) with the goal of improving our internal foundry10 programs for youth and educators. They will collaborate closely with Program Developers across foundry10’s four interest areas: Creativity, Design & Play; Career-Connected Learning & Life Skills; Technology & Media-Information Literacy; and Health & Wellbeing. Additionally, they will work with the Program Pillar Admin Team in moving projects forward. The ideal candidate has (1) strong organizational/project management skills, (2) strong verbal and written communication skills, (3) expertise evaluating youth-centered programming, and (4) training or experience applying evaluation methods in a range of education contexts.
This is a part-time, temporary position with variable hours up to 20 hours per week, for 6 months, with an anticipated start date in June 2025. The rate of pay is $35/hr. Candidates must be residents of Washington state to be considered for this position.

Must be available to travel within the greater Seattle metro area for in-person programming and in-office work. Hybrid/remote work will be flexible for any additional work tasks.
