Job Description - Project Intern

RWE Design Build is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project Intern to join our dynamic team in Downers Grove, IL! This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the construction management field while working on various projects. The ideal candidate will assist in project coordination, scheduling, and management tasks, contributing to the successful execution of construction projects.

Shadow
project managers on their daily routines to gain exposure to engineering, architecture,
design, and overall office components as they pertain to project management.
Assist
project managers with planning, executing, and completing construction projects
on time and within budget, while ensuring adherence to quality and safety
standards.
Learn
about how project managers oversee the entire project lifecycle, from pre-construction
planning to project closeout.
Developing
and managing project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
Managing
project documentation, permits, and regulatory compliance.
Conducting
regular site visits and inspections to monitor progress and identify potential issues
with a project manager.
Ensuring
the safety of all personnel on the construction site.
Listen
to communications with stakeholders to provide project updates and address concerns.
Watch
how complete estimates and establish subcontractor scopes are made.
Assist
with miscellaneous tasks including preparation of project documentation and material
management of project supplies.
