Job Description - Public Relations Intern

Job Posting: PR Intern – Serenity Healthcare
Location: Sandy Springs, GA (Hybrid)
Duration: May 12 - August 29 (Negotiable)
Compensation: $18-20/hour
About the Role: The PR Intern will support the Public Relations Specialist in media relations, research, podcasting, content creation and more. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build a career in healthcare or general communications, with hands-on experience in media outreach, writing and strategic communications.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the development and execution of national PR strategies.
Draft and distribute press releases and media pitches.
Monitor media coverage and compile reports.
Support and assist in preparing for interviews, media appearances and events.
Conduct research to generate new PR campaign ideas and initiatives.
Help coordinate internal and external communication efforts.

Qualifications:

Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
Enthusiasm for learning and contributing to PR efforts in the mental health space.
