We're now accepting applications for Fall 2026 Publicity Interns in NY & LA.
NEON internships are built around real work, the kind that actually appears in the world and moves the needle for films we believe in. For students looking to break into the industry, there's no better place to learn how independent film really operates, build meaningful connections, and get mentored by people who genuinely love what they do.
This internship is part of NEON's Undergraduate Internship Program, which gives you more than a single-team experience. Beyond working closely with your Publicity colleagues, you'll take part in structured programming, get cross-functional exposure across the company, and go through professional development alongside a cohort of fellow interns.
What makes the NEON internship different:
What you'll gain: Hands-on industry experience, behind-the-scenes insight into how films are made and marketed, professional connections that outlast the semester, and the confidence to take on whatever comes next.
Application Deadline: June 23, 2026, @ 11:59 pm EST
Program Timeline: Monday, August 31, 2026- Friday, December 18, 2026
Scheduled Weekly Hours: Must be available to work in person three days per week for the duration of the internship
To apply, submit your resume and cover letter detailing your interest in the program on our Career Page. Please include your available start date and preferred work schedule. All applications must be submitted through our online job site, as we cannot review emails or direct submissions. Due to high application volumes, it is not possible to provide individual status updates. Thank you for your understanding. We look forward to receiving your application.
We offer a competitive hourly rate of $18.00 per hour. School credit is optional, and documentation can be provided if needed. No relocation assistance is available. Our interns are onsite and in person based in either the New York or the Los Angeles office.
Schedules vary based on department needs and your availability. We do our best to work around your class schedule.
What we’re looking for:
We're committed to building a diverse and inclusive work environment.
At NEON, we are looking for diverse perspectives. We believe a thriving film industry requires a variety of voices and perspectives. We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and encourage applications from all candidates without attention to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, family or parental status, veteran, or disability status. If you're smart and good at what you do, come as you are!
