This position is responsible for providing support to the Quality Control Sample Management Department at GeneFab, with a primary focus on maintaining the sample handing from cleanrooms to QC and shipments to CTLs.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine and non-routine QC sample management operations; handle test samples throughout the sample life cycles: receipt, storage, distribution, transfer, and disposal.
- Sample pick up, aliquot and distribution to QC laboratories and retain.
- Pull samples and shipping to CTLs.
- Maintain knowledge of GMP compliance
- Perform equipment maintenance.
- Sample processing duties (aliquoting, relabeling, etc)
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- AS or BS in scientific discipline (Biology, Chemistry, or related field preferred) or completion of college level life science courses required.
- 1-2 years of experience in a GMP-regulated laboratory or biopharmaceutical environment.
- Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborated with cross-functional teams.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc).
$20 - $25 an hour
