Quality Assurance Specialist Intern

The QA Specialist Intern will play a key role in ensuring compliance and quality control within our clinic operations. You’ll be responsible for reviewing charts and client documentation, as well as listening to front office calls to ensure proper intake procedures are being followed. This position is part-time and hybrid, offering both in-office and remote options. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Review clinical charts for documentation completeness and compliance.
   
• Listen to front office call recordings to confirm adherence to intake protocols.
   
• Verify that appropriate questions (e.g., "How did you hear about us?") are being asked to new clients during calls.
   
• Identify and flag inconsistencies, missing items, or non-compliant documentation.
   
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.
   
• Report findings to management and participate in feedback discussions as needed.
   

Qualifications:

• Must be 17 years or older.
   
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
   
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
   
• Professional, dependable, and respectful of client privacy.
   
• Interest in behavioral health, healthcare operations, or administrative support is a plus.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Must be at least 17 years old.
   
• Demonstrated interest in the clinical, behavioral health, or healthcare field.
   
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
   
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
   
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word, email, etc.).
   
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and uphold professional standards.
   
• English fluency required; Spanish bilingual skills are a plus.
