Hands-on documenting plant processes flow. Coordination of meetings with process owners and support functions to determine risks. Document existing controls, and implementation of additional controls (e.g. pFMEA, Control Plans, Quality Clauses, Inspection Plans, First Articles, Internal Auditing). In addition to expected interaction with all the positions in the manufacturing facility. Progress of assigned projects and tasks will be tracked throughout and the intern will have the opportunity to present accomplishments at the end of the internship. Actively enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering at an accredited institution. This position requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by export laws of the US. In order to be eligible you must be either a US Citizen or Permanent Resident. No relocation is provided for this role. Must reside within 50 miles of Orchard Park, NY. Highly self-motivated with a strong desire to achieve results. Technologically savvy and a problem solver. Has a strategic and innovative mindset and is intellectually curious. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
