Recruiting and Business Development Intern
Job Summary The Recruiting & Business Development Intern supports Keating’s recruiting efforts by assisting with advisor research, lead generation activities, CRM updates, and candidate sourcing support. This role helps organize and strengthen the processes behind our recruiting pipeline, including improving tracking systems, maintaining accurate records, and preparing information for outreach, while gaining hands-on exposure to recruiting and business development. The ideal candidate is a motivated, detail-oriented student interested in learning more about recruiting and/or the financial services industry and eager to grow in a team-oriented environment.
This position is a part-time, non-exempt paid summer internship, located onsite in Manhattan, KS, and reports to The Advisor Integration Manager Responsibilities Include but Are Not Limited To:
Work closely with the recruiting team, with a primary focus on supporting the Advisor Transition Consultant, to learn how we find and connect with financial advisor candidates across different platforms.
Help organize and update advisor profiles and information in our CRM system to ensure records are accurate and easy to track.
Assist with gathering background information and preparing simple summaries to support outreach efforts and relationship-building with prospective advisors.
Learn how to use technology, data tools, and AI platforms to support candidate sourcing and improve day-to-day team efficiency.
Support the team in reviewing target markets and competitor branch locations to better understand recruiting opportunities.
Support additional team projects and tasks as needed.
Preferred Qualifications Include but Are Not Limited To:
Able to reside in Manhattan, KS during the summer.
A student in their junior year of college going into their senior year.
Majoring in Business Field such as Sales, Business Administration, Finance, etc.

Tech-savvy
Resourceful and proactive in asking questions
Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines

Interest in recruiting, business development, or financial services
