Job Description - Regulatory and Permitting Intern

Description

Role Overview: 

enCore Energy’s Summer Intern Program runs from May to August for a full 12 weeks. As an intern, you will be placed in our Regulatory and Permitting department and you will learn policies and procedures for the department. You will have the opportunity to experience a real-life project with hands-on experience in our core business. Your summer internship will be designed to add value to our operations while providing an opportunity to observe your skills and competencies in action. enCore Energy’s interns are paired with a manager and mentor in order to provide technical guidance throughout the internship. Interns will be given the chance to meet with executives and leadership throughout the internship.

enCore Energy Corp., America’s Clean Energy Company™, is committed to providing clean, reliable, and affordable fuel for nuclear energy as the only United States uranium producer with multiple production facilities in operation. The enCore team is led by industry experts with extensive knowledge and experience in all aspects of In-Situ Recovery (“ISR”) uranium operations and the nuclear fuel cycle. enCore solely utilizes ISR for uranium extraction, a well-known and proven technology co-developed by the leaders at enCore Energy. 

Requirements

  • Must apply to enCore Energy’s intern job at Careers | enCore Energy      (encoreuranium.com) in order to be considered
  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree (or equivalent) in HSE, Regulatory, Compliance, Business, or Finance
  • Completed at least 12 hours in related courses
  • Must have a graduation date of December 2025 – May 2027
  • Must maintain minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale
  • General understanding of regulatory principles
  • Desire to pursue a career in the Energy Industry
