Are you a Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy or Exercise Science student looking to gain real-world clinical experience before heading back to school? Join the Rehabilitation team at Meritus Health as a Rehab Aide and work alongside licensed therapists in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.

This is an excellent opportunity to build hands-on experience, strengthen your grad school application, and learn how an acute-care rehab department really operates.

What You’ll Do

Under the direct supervision of licensed therapists and clinical staff, you will:

• Assist with direct patient care and treatment activities


• Prepare and maintain therapy treatment areas


• Safely operate and maintain rehab equipment


• Support therapists during patient sessions


• Complete basic documentation and clerical tasks


• Assist with scheduling, inventory, and department support


• Help ensure a safe, organized, and efficient rehab environment

What We’re Looking For

• Current PT, OT or Exercise Science students


• Students pursuing careers in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Exercise Science, or related health fields


• Strong communication skills and attention to detail


• Ability to work in a physically active clinical environment


• Prior patient-care experience is helpful, but not required


• CPR/BLS certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
