Who we want:

A Macro Social Work graduate student currently enrolled at Texas State University who is deeply interested in the systemic efforts to connect people to necessary resources and the relationship between non-medical drivers of health and health outcomes.

What you’ll do:

Patient Financial Assistance Coordination:

  • Identify opportunities to secure patient financial aid.
  • Coordinate with patients and the patient navigator to complete and submit relevant applications.

Program Evaluation and Impact Assessment:

  • Assist in assessing and evaluating the effectiveness of the program against intended goals and objectives.
  • Support the collection and analysis of program data to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for resource optimization.
  • Help gather qualitative data, including patient testimonials, to complement quantitative findings.

Data Management & Reporting:

  • Clean and analyze data using appropriate tools.
  • Create visualizations and prepare reports to effectively communicate key findings to internal and external stakeholders.

Program Closeout Support:

  • Assist the Program Manager in conducting final program evaluations to assess long-term outcomes and sustainability.
  • Ensure that all program deliverables, financial obligations, and compliance requirements are fulfilled in preparation for final reporting.

  • Experience consistent with the required practicum course MSW Advanced Year at Texas State University. 

What you’ll bring:

  • Currently enrolled graduate student who has completed their core classes
  • Pursuing a graduate degree in social work
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and draw meaningful conclusions.
  • Experience with Excel, Google Sheets, or data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau) is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
