Associate Therapist – Pre-Licensed MSW/MHC Intern (Remote, Part-Time)

At Pathfinder Recovery, we are passionate about shaping the next generation of behavioral health leaders. We are offering a unique opportunity for Pre-Licensed MSW or Mental Health Counseling interns to join our progressive, tech-forward team as part-time, remote Associate Therapists.

You’ll gain hands-on experience providing therapy in a Primary SUD PHP/IOP setting, while being mentored by experienced clinicians and supported by cutting-edge tools like AI-powered medical records and bioinformatics.

What You’ll Do

• Provide virtual individual and group therapy sessions to clients in Primary SUD PHP/IOP care.
• Receive structured clinical supervision from our Chief Clinical Officer (eligible in CT, MA, VT, NH).
• Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant documentation in our EMR.
• Collaborate with a highly supportive team that values your input and development.

What We’re Looking For

• Currently enrolled in an MSW or MHC master’s program and eligible for clinical supervision in CT, MA, VT, or NH.
• Passion for helping individuals in recovery and interest in SUD treatment.
• Strong communication skills and ability to engage clients virtually.
• Comfort using technology in clinical work, with curiosity about integrating modern tools into behavioral health care.
• Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work remotely with professional accountability.

• Currently enrolled in a Master of Social Work (MSW) or Mental Health Counseling (MHC) graduate program.
• Eligible for clinical supervision in Connecticut, Massachusetts, Vermont, or New Hampshire.
• Demonstrated passion for helping individuals in recovery, especially in a Primary SUD PHP/IOP setting.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for both clinical work and documentation.
• Comfortable providing therapy virtually and using technology in a clinical setting.
• Interest in emerging tools such as AI-powered medical records and bioinformatics in behavioral health.
• Reliable, self-directed, and able to work remotely with professional accountability.

This is a part time, remote position.
