General Operations Intern (Unpaid Internship – 90 Days)

Remote/Clarksville, TN (Remote office space provided)

Internship Duration:

90 Days (One-month rotations across three operational divisions)

Month 1: Advanced Protection Division

Month 2: Defense Division

Month 3: Corporate Headquarters

Position Summary:

Operations Intern will support enterprise-level threat analysis, operational planning, and intelligence-led risk mitigation strategies across three of the company’s core divisions. This immersive internship is designed to transition a military-experienced professional into private-sector operational environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Advanced Protection Division (Month 1):

Assist in open-source threat monitoring and analysis.

Evaluate and vet OSINT tools for internal and client-facing applications.

Contribute to development of client threat assessments and executive protection briefs.

Contribute to the development of client relationships.

Defense Division (Month 2):

Support development of proprietary analytical workflows.

Participate in remote coordination of high-risk personnel movement.

Perform project management tasks in support of defense contracts and initiatives.

Corporate Headquarters (Month 3):

Assist with product development planning and vendor integration.

Contribute to AI-based intelligence fusion tools.

Conduct research to support internal strategic planning and corporate growth. 

Expected Learning Outcomes:

Project management and remote team coordination

Foundational knowledge of corporate threat intelligence

Familiarity with private-sector protection operations

Exposure to business development and internal strategy planning

Professional experience with intelligence software tools and platforms

Training Format:

Remote with dedicated office space.

Daily supervision and mentoring from company leadership.

No cost to intern; UG Solutions provides all required materials and resources.

Qualifications:

Military background, preferably with intelligence or operations experience within Special Operations.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Professional demeanor and written communication abilities.

Interest in executive protection, private defense contracting, or corporate strategy.

Compensation:

Unpaid. This program is aimed towards Service Members wishing to participate in an independent Career Skills Program Internship. Estimated post-internship role compensation: $110,000 (if hired full-time)

Additional Notes:

Interns work no more than 40 hours per week.
