Intern EO - MarCom Intern

This student internship is being offered as a part of EO's Ignite Internships program and is for high school students only.

This internship is offered in partnership with the EO Companies. Students will be employed by EO Companies and all

hiring decisions will be made by EO personnel. EO has provided the following job description for this internship:

The Marketing + Communications (MarCom) intern will support the work of the EO Marketing + Communications

Department, specifically focusing on print/digital promotion of the EO Ignite Internships Program.

The MarCom Intern can expect to:

· Learn more about non-profit organizations and their role in the community

· Support the EO MarCom team with important photography and marketing related tasks

· Assist in planning and executing a Marketing and Communications campaign

· Work 2-4 days per week Monday through Thursday, choosing consistent hours between 9am and 4pm daily

· Use their creative thinking and communication skills daily to collaborate with EO MarCom staff

Qualifications for this position include a positive attitude, great communication skills (both written and verbal), and the

ability to think creatively.

Responsibilities and Requirements:

· Assist with the planning and execution of a Marketing and Communications campaign

· Gather photographs and videos in the field (DSLR camera training provided)

· Must have a valid VA driver's license

· Students must be willing to drive personal vehicle to business sites when necessary to gather content
