This position is based on-site in the Greater Seattle Area.

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Summer Intern to join our team with a focus on events and hospitality. This internship is ideal for a student or recent graduate pursuing a degree in event management, hospitality, hotel administration, or a related field. The intern will gain hands-on experience supporting the planning and execution of corporate events, meetings, and travel logistics, as well as exposure to vendor coordination and hospitality operations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in the coordination and logistics of internal events, including conferences, off-sites, and meetings


• Support vendor logistics and communication


• Help maintain event planning documents, timelines, and checklists


• Contribute to guest communication, including invitations, registration lists, and on-site support


• Collaborate with team members to create a welcoming and seamless guest experience


• Participate in site visits, walk-throughs, and post-event evaluations


• Support tracking and change management of travel accommodations and hotel blocks


• Help prepare event materials such as name badges, signage, swag, and agendas


• Provide administrative support as needed to the Events and Field Services teams

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED

• Actively pursuing or recently completed a degree in Hospitality Management, Event Planning, Hotel Administration, Communications, or related field


• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and deadlines


• Effective written and verbal communication skills


• Basic Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) skills required


• Proficiency in Smartsheet preferred


• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment


• Positive, solution-oriented attitude with a willingness to learn

WORK ENVIRONMENT 

Required to work in our Bellevue, WA location 3 days per week (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday). Can work from home the remaining 2 days per week.

COMPENSATION:

This is a Non-Exempt position with an hourly range of $16 - $20.00, depending on experience.

Pay may vary by location, and actual compensation depends on factors like qualifications, experience, skills, and business needs. Sono Bello may adjust this range in the future. Full-time employees may also receive benefits such as incentives, equity, health coverage, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and parental leave.
