Intern - LCPS - Information Technology Assistant

This student internship is being offered as a part of EO's Ignite Internships program and is for high school students only.

This internship is offered in partnership with the Lee County Public Schools and is open to LCPS students only. Students

will be employed by LCPS and all hiring decisions will be made by LCPS personnel. LCPS has provided the following job

description for this internship:

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Installs, configures, and maintains new computers and peripherals including workstations, fileservers, and networking

equipment;

• Installs new or updates software on school computers including workstations and file servers;

• Pulls wire, runs cable to connect computers, phone lines, etc.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS Computer installation/repair training and experience preferred
