Intern - LCPS - Maintenance Crew

This student internship is being offered as a part of EO's Ignite Internships program and is for high school students only.

This internship is offered in partnership with the Lee County Public Schools and is open to LCPS students only. Students

will be employed by LCPS and all hiring decisions will be made by LCPS personnel. LCPS has provided the following job

description for this internship:

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assists in installing, repairing, and maintaining building structures;

• Paints walls, cleans floors, woodwork, and fixtures;

• Adheres to proper cleaning methods, storage, and proper care of equipment and supplies;

• Operates equipment and power tools, including pressure washer, lawn mowers, weed eaters, etc.

• Uses and wears safety and/or protective equipment, as appropriate;

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS Maintenance work experience preferred

PREFERRED SKILLS Basic carpentry, plumbing, and/or electrical skills
