Intern-King General Contractors-Mechanic

This student internship is being offered as a part of EO's Ignite Internships program and is for high school students only.

This internship is offered in partnership with King General Contractors. Students will be employed by King General

Contractors and all hiring decisions will be made by King General Contractors personnel. King General Contractors is

seeking to hire one (1) high school student in this area and has provided the following job description for this internship:

Maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing passenger vehicles, over-the-road tractors, trailers, and heavy equipment. The

intern will be expected to get their hands dirty and be prepared to use hand and power tools.

Heavy equipment includes: Skid steers, Excavators, and Bull dozers.

Oil Changes, tire rotations, oil/air filter cleaning and/or replacement, checking fastener torque specs on all of the above

vehicles and equipment. Monitoring and diagnosing electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical issues. Repairing any issues

found. Sourcing parts. Logging your work into maintenance manuals.
