Lead Generation Intern

Tips / Role Summary

We are looking for a proactive and enthusiastic Lead Generation Intern to help identify and connect with potential clients for BuzzCart. In this role, you will research prospects, generate qualified leads, and support the sales team in expanding our customer base. Success in this position is measured by the quality of leads generated and the number of successful client conversions. This internship provides valuable hands-on experience in sales, business development, and B2B lead generation.

Responsibilities

• Research and identify potential businesses and decision-makers.


• Generate qualified leads through LinkedIn, email, social media, and online research.


• Build and maintain a database of prospective clients.


• Reach out to potential customers through various communication channels.


• Schedule meetings or product demonstrations for the sales team.


• Maintain accurate records of leads and interactions.


• Collaborate with the sales team to improve lead generation strategies.


• Meet assigned weekly or monthly lead generation targets.


• Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.


• Strong verbal and written communication skills.


• Basic understanding of lead generation and sales processes.


• Familiarity with LinkedIn, Google Sheets/Excel, and online research tools.


• Good organizational and time management skills.


• Self-motivated with a willingness to learn.


• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.


• Positive attitude and target-oriented mindset.
