ABOUT THE POSITION
Legal Intern – Brand Protection at BURGA is more than just a title—it’s a front-row seat to the evolution of a brand that’s taking the world by storm. You'll be at the heart of an extremely versatile and fast-paced environment, where new collections, campaigns, and product launches will keep you sharp and excited.
Your Role: protect BURGA’s brand by monitoring online platforms, identifying counterfeit listings, and executing takedown actions. You’ll work closely with marketplaces and legal advisors to enforce our IP rights, helping to maintain brand integrity and ensure our customers receive only authentic products.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Monitor e-commerce and social media platforms (e.g., Amazon, eBay, AliExpress, Vinted) to detect counterfeit or infringing listings
- Draft and submit takedown notices in line with IP enforcement procedures
- Document enforcement actions and maintain internal records
- Assist the legal team with compiling evidence and communicating with offenders
- Support the legal team with various ad hoc compliance and IP-related tasks
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Recent graduate or final-year student in Law or a related field
- Basic understanding of trademarks, copyrights, and design rights
- Prior use or knowledge of online marketplaces (e.g., Amazon, eBay, AliExpress)
- Strong internet research and documentation capabilities
- Experience with IP enforcement tools like BrandShield or Red Points, or drafting legal notices
SALARY: 1038 EUR/Month GROSS.
