Part-Time Data Analyst / BI Analyst

About the Role

We are looking for an analytically minded university student who wants to apply statistics, SQL, and Python to real business questions.

The role is particularly suitable for students of mathematics, statistics, computer science, data analytics, or a related field at Masaryk University. Students from other universities are also welcome to apply.

No extensive professional experience is required. We are looking for strong analytical thinking, a willingness to learn, and availability of at least 20 hours per week.

What You Will Do

• Analyze business and customer data.


• Use SQL to explore internal data and identify unexpected trends.


• Build analytical dashboards in Tableau.


• Automate recurring data tasks using Python.


• Prepare reports and presentations for management.


• Evaluate marketing campaigns and investigate performance changes.


• Calculate customer lifetime value, prepare revenue forecasts, and analyze key business metrics.
  
  

What We Expect

• You are studying a quantitative field such as mathematics, statistics, computer science, or data analytics.


• You understand the fundamentals of statistics.


• You have basic knowledge of SQL and Python from coursework, personal projects, or previous experience.


• You enjoy working with data and investigating unexpected results.


• You can communicate your findings clearly in English.

Experience with Tableau, BigQuery, or GA4 is an advantage, but not required.
